Stomach Problems:
- Upset stomach
two teaspoons apple cider vinegar
One cup water
Mix and drink to soothe your stomach
- For Diarrhea Add half teaspoon each of salt, baking soda and sugar to an eight ounce glass of water. Drink this throughout the day to replace the fluids you you've lost
- For Heartburn Drink a glass of low-fat or fat-free milk. Milk proteins absorb the excess acids. Avoid whole milk-fat can trigger heartburn
- For Bloating Boil (2) teaspoons fennel seeds in (2) cups of water for at least three minutes, strain the seeds and add honey to taste, then drink
- For bladder infections, mixing one teaspoon of olive oil with one teaspoon of garlic juice in a glass of warm water should help eliminate the bacteria responsible. Drink mixture three times a day, before meals. Note that you can also substitute cranberry juice for the water if the infection is especially stubborn
- An old-fashioned remedy for muscle cramps is to take two teaspoons of honey with each meal. If this is done on a regular basis, then the cramping should diminish within a couple of weeks. This has proven to be effective in cases of cramping in the feet and legs during the night
